Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Salim-VA website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access our services.
About Me and My Services
I'm Salim, an independent virtual assistant. I provide services including but not limited to administrative support, graphic design, content creation, social media management, e-commerce support, and video editing. Services are provided on an hourly basis or through monthly retainers as described on my website.
Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information necessary for service delivery
- Respond to communications within a reasonable timeframe
- Provide feedback and approvals promptly to avoid delays
- Pay all fees as agreed upon
- Maintain confidentiality of any sensitive information shared
Pricing and Payment
All prices are shown in USD on my website, but payments are processed in KES (Kenyan Shillings) at the current exchange rate of approximately 1 USD = 131 KES. Here's how billing works:
- Hourly Services: Billed based on actual time worked. You'll get a detailed timesheet showing tasks completed. Minimum billing is 1 hour.
- Monthly Retainers: Billed at the beginning of each month.
- Yearly Plans: Billed upfront with 20% discount applied.
- All payments are processed securely through Paystack (KES) or PayPal (USD).
Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel services at any time. Refund policy:
- Hourly services: No refunds for completed work.
- Monthly retainers: Prorated refund for unused portion.
- Yearly plans: Prorated refund minus 10% processing fee.
- If you're not happy with my work, talk to me! I want to make it right. If I can't fix it, I'll issue a refund as outlined above.
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, clients retain all intellectual property rights to deliverables created specifically for them. Salim-VA retains the right to display work samples in portfolios.
Confidentiality
I take confidentiality seriously. I will:
- Keep all your information confidential
- Never share your business details with anyone without your permission
- Sign an NDA if you need one (just ask!)
- Delete your sensitive information when we're done working together (unless you ask me to keep it for future work)
My Guarantee to You
I guarantee:
- 24-hour response time during business days (Monday-Friday). Most messages get a response within 2-4 hours.
- High-quality work that meets your requirements. If you're not satisfied, I'll revise it until you are.
- Clear communication about timelines, costs, and progress. No surprises.
Limitation of Liability
Salim-VA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the services.
Modifications to Terms
I reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
